National Doughnut Week 2027 will take place 15-23 May 2027 following a hugely successful 2026 which saw bakers raise £39,000 for The Children’s Trust.
This year’s week brought together bakers, retailers, cafés and foodservice operators, all using one of the nation’s favourite bakery treats to generate important funds for the charity.
2027 will see the fundraising event enter its 36th year having raised £711,339 to date for The Children’s Trust.
Sponsored by CSM Ingredients, National Doughnut Week has become a firmly established date in the bakery industry calendar, providing bakers with the opportunity to raise funds, drive footfall and doughnut sales and showcase their doughnut making creativity.
For 2027, the campaign will introduce new National Doughnut Week window stickers and pin badges, giving participating businesses additional ways to promote their involvement in-store and encourage customers to support the campaign.
Holly Wales, Activation Manager UK, from CSM Ingredients said:
“National Doughnut Week continues to demonstrate what the bakery industry can achieve with all things doughnuts! We saw some fantastic creativity from participating bakers in 2026 and generated important funds of £39,000 for The Children’s Trust.
We’re pleased to confirm the dates for 2027 so that bakers can get it in the diary and start planning. We want next year to be even bigger, with new promotional materials and plenty of product inspiration to help bakeries make the most of the commercial opportunity while supporting a fantastic cause.”
National Doughnut Week 2027 will take place from Saturday 15th May – Sunday 23rd May 2027.

NOTES TO EDITORS
Since launching in 1992, National Doughnut Week has raised a total of £1,228,546 for charitable causes, including £711,339 for The Children’s Trust. Every year 40,000 children in the UK are left with a brain injury as a result of an accident or illness and many have to live with ongoing, long-term difficulties. The Children’s Trust gives children and young people with brain injury and neurodisability opportunities to live the best life possible, by providing specialist rehabilitation, education and community services across the UK. www.thechildrenstrust.org.uk
The Children’s Trust
Provides therapeutic support to children across the UK via our Brian Injury Community Service. Typically, these children and young people no longer require intensive therapy or rehabilitation, but would benefit from some level of therapeutic support as they may have a combination of cognitive, communication and behavioural difficulties. Our Information Service, which consists of the Brain Injury Hub website and our publications, reaches families mainly in the UK, but also across the globe, providing families with free support and advice.
